Course Purchase & Payment Policy

1. Overview

This Course Purchase & Payment Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made for Silk Lash Empire’s in-person and online courses through Kajabi, Afterpay, Klarna, or any other third-party payment processor. By purchasing a course, you ("Student") agree to the terms outlined below. Silk Lash Empire reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time, provided notice is given to enrolled students and posted on the official website.

 

2. Course Fulfillment & Completion

Upon purchase, students are enrolled in an in-person training program scheduled per the agreed-upon contract. The course is considered fulfilled when:

  • The student completes the in-person training during the contracted period.
  • The student receives the Silk Lash Empire course materials and certification of completion.

Once course fulfillment is complete, the transaction is final, and the student remains responsible for the full payment amount, regardless of payment method.

3. Payment Terms

Students may pay the full amount upfront via Kajabi, credit card, Klarna, or Afterpay.

Third-Party Installments: When using Klarna or Afterpay, payment terms are governed by the respective service's agreement. Silk Lash Empire does not manage or modify installment plans.

By signing the course enrollment contract, the student agrees to:

1. Pay the full course amount by the final payment due date stated in the contract.

2. Continue making payments as scheduled, even after course completion and issuance of certification.

3. Understand that non-payment or chargebacks after course fulfillment are not grounds for cancellation or refund.

 

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Silk Lash Empire maintains a strict no-refund policy once a course has been completed. This is because, as an educational institution, once instruction has begun, the information and techniques shared cannot be returned.

Non-Refundable Circumstances Include:

  • Completion of the full training program (including all scheduled modules).

  • Issuance of a Certification of Completion.

  • Failure to attend the scheduled course without prior rescheduling per the original contract.

  • Custom payment plans after course participation has begun.

Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy:

While our courses are non-refundable once completed, we do allow for limited exceptions based on course structure and time of withdrawal:

  1. 3-Hour In-Person Courses:
    If a student wishes to withdraw within the first hour of a 3-hour course, a full  refund may be granted. Requests must be made before the 60-minute mark and the student must leave the class immediately.

  2. Full Bundle Courses:
    Students enrolled in a Full Bundle Course may request a refund after completing only the Classic Lash portion (the first 3 hours of Day 1). Refund requests must be submitted before participating in any Hybrid, Volume, Live Model, or Business training segments.

 

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

Any attempt to dispute payments or initiate chargebacks through Klarna, Afterpay, Kajabi, or credit card providers after course fulfillment will be considered a breach of this Policy and the signed course contract. Silk Lash Empire reserves the right to:

  • Provide documentation, including signed contracts, training records, and certification, to payment processors and dispute resolution services.
  • Pursue collections for outstanding balances if chargebacks result in unpaid course fees.

6. Hardship Programs (Klarna & Afterpay)

Students experiencing financial hardship should contact Klarna or Afterpay directly to explore hardship assistance options:

Silk Lash Empire does not manage hardship programs but will support students in accessing available resources.

7. Student Enrollment Agreement

In addition to this Policy, students must sign an Enrollment Agreement before the start of training. This agreement will include:

  • The course start and end date.

  • The total course amount and payment schedule.

  • Student acknowledgment of full payment responsibility.

  • Student and instructor signatures.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Silk Lash Empire complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and all applicable U.S. privacy laws. All payment data is handled securely by Kajabi, Klarna, and Afterpay, with no sensitive information stored directly by Silk Lash Empire.
